Savory or sweet you will be overwhelmed by the creations and portions this little place puts out. The Benedict is awesome. If you need to kill a pancake or french toast craving this is the perfect place to get it done. Oh! The French press coffee is a nice touch.

My mom has to visit the liver specialist every 3-4 months at the Kaiser on Sunset and since we drive 70 miles from the IE we hit the road early to try to miss traffic. But that leaves us with 2.5 hours to kill. What better way to kill that time than having a nice little sit down breakfast at a great little cafe. Reasonable prices especially for the portions you get. My mom was overwhelmed with the size of the French Toast ( her go to item at any breakfast spot). But she said they were soooo delish! I kept up with my Keto diet, so I had the ham steak and eggs with a side of steamed spinach. I added on a side of sausage and the waitress asked if I knew how big the ham was. Against her advice, I ordered them anyways. I am now taking home half of the ham. Ha ha but finished my eggs, sausage and spinach. We will definitely be back next time she has an appointment with the Dr here in Hollywood. Great vibe, delicious food and great staff. Oh and the French Press coffee...yes please!!!

Big is not always better. Long wait for a massive portion of pancakes that tasted really bad. So much food is just thrown away. That seems so unnecessary. I must say that it is a cool diner atmosphere and the staff are great.

Amazing coffee shop. The food was delicious. We had the French toast and chili beef taco 🌮. There were so good we wanted to come back again, but unfortunately it was our last day at LA. It is a must.. and the customer service was excellent and ambiance was great.

Wow! Come hungry, ring an extra stomach because your eyes will want you to eat EVERYTHING! We opted for the amazing pancakes, teachers pet was my favorite but a friend got a burger and I was extremely envious.

Fantastic breakfast restaurant! Very unique. "Say Cheese" and "Hear Me Roar" are large-portioned, delicious offerings. Server Carolina was wonderful. Highly recommended during a visit to Hollywood!

Great experience with a large amount of food to take home afterward. Very loud but yet who cares as long as you receive fantastic service. The young and beautiful lady name KIM was indeed very experienced in what she does. She was on top of everything coming back to check in on you for your needs. The hospitality attitude was graceful. It's a MUST to request for her! Yes, everyone is great there for the years my family has eaten here. But KIM is the best. She is 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Superb!

I know this is busy and popular place but we had to wait for more than 40minutes for our food. When I asked to server when our food would be ready she told me to “be patient.” Our original server who had to take a lunch break in the middle was very caring and nice, but Jennifer, who took over seemed very rude. When we finally did get our food, we figured we only got two out of our three orders and waited for more than 20 minutes. I let our server know that we were still waiting on one more dish. She double-checked for us and figured out that the third menu was crossed out on the receipt. Overall, I do understand that this is a very busy place but the service was very disappointing and I don’t think I will be revisiting this place.

An awesome coffee shop that happens to be a non-profit, but still makes delicious coffee! The atmosphere is really calm and welcoming, giving you the option of sitting inside or outside in a beautiful courtyard. It offers privacy and comfort for working or study, but still a chill vibe to hang out for a quick bite with a few friends or solo. Great spot!

10/10. Loved it here! My wife lived close by here a few years back and she always talked about The Griddle so on our most recent trip we ventured up here to try it out and I was blown away. The atmosphere, the staff and the food were all excellent. The food blew me away. The portion size and taste were top notch. Highly recommend.

Such a charming place! I had no clue how cute and quiet the courtyard was. And incredibly dog-friendly on the patio. I loved the little sign in the front that basically welcomes dogs as long as you are respectful of others (which everyone seemed to be). I had a great pour-over coffee and didn't try any of the treats but they looked good. They had gluten-free options which are always a plus.

Delicious and usually BIG portions. Pancakes the size of dinner plates or larger. Thick cut, delicious bacon, great eggs, just great dishes in general. I’ve been here a bunch of times and I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad waiter. Always friendly and usually funny.Be warned - it gets VERY busy so I recommend getting there 30 min before they open! Nothing but good things to say and I need to go back!

True American diner, excellent breakfast joint with yummy pancakes bigger than dinner plate size. Great filter coffee as well. Very busy joint, sometimes hard to get server’s attention but staff are nice.

They made us wait until every single person that was in our party had arrived to be seated... Even though majority of us were there already. The bacon was not cooked well enough and didn't taste that great to be $5.95. And it was my bestfriends birthday and she didn't even get a birthday song. But our waiter Zack was really nice and the pancakes tasted good.

Beware! Order one pancake you will not finish them all😅😅. If you order pancakes do not order any other food. You won't finish any of it. The french pressed coffee was delicious though and I did finish that.

Excellent breakfast option on the Sunset strip. The pancakes are huge. I had the French toast, which I highly recommend. The French toast is large, fresh bread. The place is small and usually has a wait. Friendly waitresses.

I went here around 1:45pm and there were a good amount of customers. However, there was only one person working on both the register and the orders; therefore, the process took a little longer. Other than that, I was very satisfied by the bubble tea and the staff member was efficient and patient.

This has quickly become my favorite working coffee shop! First, the staff is super nice and friendly. Second, the coffee is delish and not overpriced. My favorite though is that it's an excellent place to work. It's just a comfy, quiet and creative space with free WiFi and lots of outlets.

This place right here..wow! We had to wait a few minutes in line to get in, but we came super early just to be one of the firsts to get seated. The four of us ordered 5 pancakes, not sure why. Each pancake was twice the size of my head. We tried blueberry, Oreo, Ted velvet and chocolate chip (I think). We I say we had leftovers for days, we had leftovers for days.These pancakes were the bomb! So good. So flavorful. HUGE!! But it was awesome to share and taste everyone’s different pancake flavor. This is a most stop breakfast joint. Get yourself a pancake. Go crazy and try two and be prepared to have leftovers.

Wow. Worth the wait in line. Get the coffee get the coffee get the coffee!!! I had the Cobb Burger and tasted the hash. So good so fresh and full of flavor. Customer service was awesome. Only dislike was how cold the air was blowing. I eat slow so halfway through my meal my food was cold.

Size does matter😜 Nothing fancy here, just a good old fashioned, classic breakfast. I ordered their pancake with bananas and walnuts and a side of bacon. Was pleasantly surprised how perfectly the pancake was prepared, being so big. Flavorful, slightly crispy on the outside yet moist and fluffy on the inside. Bacon was also on point. Meaty and great flavor. Just go, you’ll thank me later. Note: Sharing is highly recommended😋

Griddle cafe is a good spot to eat but it's much of a need to be remodeled. It's has very tight space to walk around due to the seating areas are close. Gordan Ramsey's 24hours hell and back or Restaurant Impossible with Robert Irvine could help out.

Huge portions of down right delicious food! Elevated comfort food, if you will. Great service & decent coffee. Solid!!

There is always going to be a wait, make sure you put your name on the list inside, don't just get in line! My friend found that out the hard way. They are super efficient though and the food is so worth it. Split the sweet things as they are much too large for just one person. Although the griddle items are obviously the draw, their egg dishes and scrambles are not to be missed.

Delicious French toast! Bacon was well cooked, as were the eggs. Not a huge fan of their hash browns though. They looked like one huge blob. Service was good despite them being very busy. Wait was about 30 minutes around 12 pm.

All American dinner who offers a big dishes and not afraid to show it offers a unhealthy but comfort food for his guests. The food is OK, but I had better experience with dinner as a tourist in the states. The location is very central and it’s very easy to get there. The sweet pancakes are great, however the omelettes dishes not that great and I’d like to advice to order other things from the menu. The prices for the portions are affordable and fair.

I admire this venue a lot. It has a happy spirit. The cuisine is exeptionaly good. the service is powerful and the waiters are trained. The cost is modest. extremely recommend.

I've heard so much about this place, so recommended it to my friends when we did our girl's weekend in the LA area. You can't miss it because it's the one place on that street with the line out the door!

I had the Yellow Brick Road pancakes. Caramel Butterscotch Walnut pancakes. They may have ruined me for all other pancakes for the rest of my life, they were that good. They were huge and huge over the side of the plate. A friend ask me why I was putting any syrup on them. Because they didn’t need any. I actually did end up putting some syrup on them but not until after I had all ready ate a third of it.Go hungry the portions are large. The service was fast and friendly. The coffee was strong and delicious.If you like pancakes or a great breakfast to start your day, you have to check this place out.I will definitely go back the next time I’m in LA.

It's an old school vibe and I'm an old school kinda guy. Loved the music, service and the abundance of delicious food. Highly recommend this place!

The only bad part about this place is the wait time. But if you come early enough, you should be fine. The pancakes are Huge and delicious. I have only tried the regular ones. Next time I will try something different. @raulvsfood

The portions are insanely big for the cost. I strongly recommend the peanut butter cookie banana pancakes, they are the bomb. And the coffee they serve is French press!

Pancakes are gigantic, we had the oreo, it was decent. It wasn't my most favorite pancake but good. The omelette was yummy. The service however was sub-par. Several tables came in after us and were getting served, while we had yet to receive menus. It wasn't a crazy hectic day, of course there was a line but we waited about 10 minutes for our menus and others were receiving food well after we ordered. I'm not sure if this is the usual, but for me it wasn't good enough to get looked over in regards to service. I'm not sure how it is normally, just my experience. However, i am still willing to give it a 4 for the experience.

Famous for a reason and that's their amazing pancakes but don't tell anyone I love their waffles more! Can't go wrong here, everything on the menu is delicious and the service is great. Don't expect carry-out/delivery on weekends or holidays as it's just too busy. The key is to get here before they open on weekends or visit during the week, if you don't expect a line but it's worth it. 👍

Good place. Tasty eats. Loud Music so, perfect for a couple who are in a fight and don’t feel like talking over a meal. Long lines at certain times. I ordered the “Some like it hot scramble. It’s supposed to come with “chili-cheese” toast. Looked Like regular toast to me. I flag the waiter down. That was a little challenging. Pointed out the discrepancy and mistake, “this looks like ordinary toast”, I say. He told me that it was chili cheese toast and proceeded to point to a small speck of green chili in one of the Toast craters - “So, where is the cheese” ? I asked. No answer. If you’re going to list items on the menu you should include them as listed, even if the scramble has plenty of cheese on it. (Not recommended for diners on Lipitor ) Here’s the good news: amazing and overfilling pancakes. Great French pressed coffee and a pretty bold menu. I’ll be back, but not during rush hours

Grabbed brunch here before hiking Runyon Canyon and loved it. Great vibe, great service, and huge portions. Do yourself a favor and order the cinnamon streusel french toast... absolutely incredible.

I went here for a late Sunday brunch with some friends. The line was unsurprisingly long, but we managed to get seated relatively quickly by taking an unpopular table outside. All the food was excellent, but the service was incredibly lacking. The busing was fine, but our waitress was clearly overloaded since she took 15 min before asking our order and was promptly never seen again unless requested by flagging down another employee. A drink order was forgotten and reportedly never written down. The food was all delivered piecemeal which is unfortunate, because we waited over 30min until near the end of our meal before realizing the final dish ordered was never placed with the kitchen. The waitress was apologetic and offered to place the order, but it would have taken an additional 10-15min to arrive. This was unacceptable as the rest of our party was already done eating. We ended up leaving still hungry.
